Simple Design

The JBL On Time is simple in design. To hear music from you iPod, simply connect it into the dock and turn on the power. That's it. It comes with a variety of sleeves so that, no matter which iPod product you have, it will rest firmly in the integrated dock. It features iPod universal dock adaptor, which is compatible with most docking iPods, including the iPod nano and the fifth generation iPod. A mini-jack connection is also integrated so that you may enjoy high quality music from a variety of other electronic gear, including MP3 and CD players, laptop computers, satellite ratios or the Apple iPod shuffle. When docking your iPod in the unit, it draws power from the clock radio and will recharge the battery.

Unmatched Sound

You can expect nothing less than great sound from your JBL On Time. With its unique circular design, it produces clean, powerful and dynamic sound. There are three speakers enclosed on the halo portion. The two matching speakers that are on opposite sides reproduce the low to midrange sounds and the tweeter on top doubles as the snooze button. The upward firing tweeter and horizontal low and midrange transducers provide a 360 degree sound. The horizontal level optimization, or "halo acoustics", provide a rich sound field from any direction.

Distinct Flavor

The retro design and distinct flavor of this accessory is not the only feature to impress. It's display is proportioned very nicely and it is easy to read the backlit buttons. You are able to dim the LCD automatically and manually. The snooze bar is well placed on top. Other features include five presets for your favorite ratio stations, and AM/FM radio tuner that is RDS enabled. The alarm clock has two independent alarms that are programmable to play a buzz, ratio or songs from your iPod. Other alarm features include setting the snooze time with the ability to choose weekend or weekday times. All in all, there are ten buttons in addition to the snooze button, all located at the foot of the unit. The four to the left control volume, mode selection, and power. The four buttons on the right are used to navigate the JBL On Time USB connection which will allow you to synch your iPod to your PC while it is docked.
