What a great idea - an iPod-compatible digital clock radio! With the iHome iH6, you can listen to your iPod products through a stereo clock radio with integrated speakers. Fall asleep or wake to your own iPod or a digitally tuned AM/FM radio with the quality of a fine speaker system.

Features Galore

The iHome iH6 includes removable inserts to connect multiple types of iPods and charge while docked. It also includes an AC power supply and an AM antenna. (Backup batteries - 2 AA's - are required in case of loss of power.) You choose the songs and the rest is up to the iH6. Fall asleep or wake up using the unit's programmable Gradual Wake/Sleep feature (increased volume upon waking, decreased while sleeping.) The alarm will resume playback of the last song that was playing when the iPod was turned off. Distortion free audio is achieved through a pair of "Reson8" speakers on each side of the LCD display, delivering astounding clarity, depth, and power. There is also a line-in connection on the back to allow you to connect other audio devices and a line-out for hooking up to larger audio systems. The clock radio is a high functioning alarm clock that maintains accuracy all on its own, drawing from its factory-installed 100- year calendar, even adjusting for Daylight Savings time and leap years. Just set your time zone.

Excellent Design

The iHome iH6 is designed to complement the look and feel of your Apple MP3 Player with its glossy black or white exterior. The functions are easily manipulated through a series of simple buttons. With it's intuitive design, the buttons are clearly labeled to guide you through playing your iPod, tuning the radio or setting the alarm. Other features include a remote control, an automatic frequency control for enhanced FM reception, a backlight on all the primary buttons and optical knobs for precision in tuning or adjusting the volume.

Intuitive Clock Alarm

With the iHome iH6, you can wake to your iPod, AM or FM radio, or buzzer. It's extremely easy to use and to set up. The alarm reset turns off alarm and automatically resets it for same time the following day, the alarm battery backup maintains clock setting and ensures alarm wake time in case of power failures, wakes you with gently ascending alarm volume, and has an iPod alarm backup if iPod is the selected wake-to source and is not docked, a buzzer will sound instead.
