DescriptioniTunes 6.0 was released hot on the heels of iTunes 5.0, just 35 days later. New to the program is the "Video" source and the ability to purchase videos and TV programs through the iTunes Music Store. iTunes 6.0 was released along side of the 5th Generation iPod. UpdatesA number of minor updates were made to iTunes 6, the last of which was iTunes 6.0.5 which was released on June 29, 2006. Supported Media Formats- Video: Quicktime compatible video
- Audio: * MP3, WAV, AIFF, MPEG4, Apple Lossless, M4P/AAC Protected Content, and a variety of quicktime supported media formats as well.
- The Windows version of iTunes supports converting unprotected WMA's to AAC or MP3.
Limitations - It is not possible to browse the library by composer.
- While it is possible to listen to one CD while importing another (if you have more than one drive), it is not possible to import more than one CD at a time.
iTunes 5iTunes 5.0 was released on September 7th 2005 for Mac OS X and Windows 2000/XP. DescriptioniTunes 5 featured a new look, leaving behind the Brushed Metal theme used in previous versions. A change that caused mixed reactions. New Features- New look

iTunes 4iTunes 4.0 was released on April 28th 2003 for Mac OS X, followed by a 4.1 released on October 16th 2003 for Mac OS X and Windows 2000/XP. DescriptioniTunes 4 added support for the iTunes Music Store which would soon dominate the market of legal music downloads.
